Synopsis
The film takes place in Saigon, where Khôi arrives in Nha Trang after being rejected by his family due to his homosexuality. Become his friend and invite him to share an apartment with Lam, who is, without Khôi’s knowledge, actually his lover.

The second plot of the film refers to a mentally disabled man called Cười and his efforts to create a patito, while he intermittently tries to become friends with a prostitute, Hạnh. This infuriates his pimp who starts hitting them both as a deterrent. The initially hostile Hạnh warms up to Cười as his patito grows. At the end of the film, the threat of eating Cười’s duck causes Hạnh to strike her and an executor until she dies.
