Tomoya Ishida is a newbie editor at the fashion magazine Sophia Monthly. After his senior’s sudden hospitalization, he’s hastily assigned to collect a column manuscript from the famous culinary researcher Ayumu Mitsuya. He pays him a visit soon after and, to his surprise, finds an affable, older man who speaks in a Kyoto dialect. Being asked to wait, Tomoya is served a simple dish that entices his stomach, and soon, he finds himself eagerly awaiting their next encounter!

As much as i enjoyed the series I found that Mitsuya character disappointing . In real life who would even contemplate staying with him especially the way he talked and outed Ishida but bring the magna it is I suppose the ending is okish regarding the failed kiss well it happened in Cherry magic japan bl bec one of the actors is homophobic so maybe same mentality applies here too

I wish there more episodes, and longer too, that showed the long term development of their age gap relationship. Nevertheless, this was a sweet, touching series and I want to say thank you for carrying it.
