In 2001, Gyeong Hwan (17), a high school freshman, transferred from Yeongcheon to Suseong District in Daegu, known for its educational enthusiasm. Gyeong Hwan is an otaku obsessed with Japanese culture and soon discovers that Jae Min (17), the class president who sits next to him, is also a fan of Japanese music and culture. As the two gradually grow closer, Jae Min quietly helps Gyeong Hwan adjust to his new environment, and in return, Jae Min begins to open up to him.
Kuo Lun’s family returns home for the funeral of her grandmother, who was killed in a car accident. Having not spoken with her family in a long time, Kuo Lun comes home as a trans woman. Then, she finds out the person who killed her grandmother was her first love. Besides facing her father, who is unwilling to accept her, she also has to deal with financial entanglements between relatives and their complicated past. Yet, she still wants to see her grandmother one last time.
